Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor to oversee construction projects and ensure that operations run smoothly on-site. As a Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising teams, managing project timelines, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations while utilizing construction management software such as ProCore and HeavyBid.
Duties
- Supervise daily operations on the construction site, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
- Manage project schedules and coordinate with team members to meet deadlines.
- Utilize construction management software to track progress, manage budgets, and communicate with stakeholders.
- Conduct regular inspections of work performed to ensure quality standards are met.
- Train and mentor team members in construction techniques and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with project managers to develop project plans and budgets.
- Maintain accurate records of materials used, labor hours, and equipment utilized on-site.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies while promoting a culture of safety among team members.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the construction industry.
- Familiarity with construction management software such as ProCore and HeavyBid is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, including pipeline installation and site management.
- Excellent budgeting skills to manage project costs effectively.
- Ability to operate tools such as an ohmmeter for electrical testing when necessary.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide team members effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
