What are the responsibilities and job description for the Garden Center Nursery Associate position at Big Value Garden Center?
We are currently hiring immediately for our Retail Garden Center for the fall season. Seeking qualified, hard working individuals who enjoy working outdoors and talking with people.
Duties include:
Attend to customer needs and questions
Conduct cash register transactions
Knowledge of plant material, fertilizers & chemicals
Weed, deadhead, and prune plant stock
Assist in unloading deliveries of plant material.
Able to lift and carry 50 lbs plus
Repot and propagate plant stock
Assist with maintenance of property gardens
General cleaning and organizing of nursery/retail space.
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
