Job Summary

• Accurately count products and execute cycle counting using mobile RF technology to maintain 98% inventory accuracy.
• Generate and action Mango reports, organize backstock, and support receiving/merchandising with zero-discrepancy data.
• Work independently during off-peak or early-morning hours to keep every SKU in the right place at the right quantity.
• Part-time and Full-time shifts available.

Key Responsibilities

• Counting Products & Cycle Counting
  • Perform blind cycle counts on 300–600 SKUs daily using mobile RF scanner (Zebra TC52 or similar); count bins, pegs, overheads, endcaps, and backstock.
  • Recount variances immediately; research mis-picks, damages, or system errors before submitting.  Research/correct previous counting errors.
  • Prioritize high-velocity, high-value, or negative on-hand items.
• Mango Reports & Data Actions
  • Pull Mango accuracy reports each morning: On-Hand vs. Physical, Zero Sales, Overstock, Negative Balance.
  • Resolve red-flag SKUs same-day: adjust counts, move hidden stock, or flag for manager review.
  • Export velocity trends to Excel
• Organization & Slotting
  • Slot freight into reserve locations by velocity and size; label every bin, overhead, and pallet clearly.
  • Consolidate partial cases, condense aisles, and eliminate “dead zones” weekly.
  • Maintain standards in the backroom: swept, lit, labeled, no loose cardboard.
• Mobile RF Technology Use
  • Master RF functions: blind count, location inquiry, stock transfer, receive override, label print.
  • Troubleshoot scanner sync, low battery, or barcode errors.
  • Use Mango mobile app to scan outs, photo-document damages, and close count tasks in real time.
• Support & Compliance
  • Assist receiving with pallet breakdown and piece-count verification during truck unloads.
  • Prep for yearly wall-to-wall physical: stage count sheets, label sections, lock high-theft areas.
  • Follow shrink-prevention rules: lock scanners when unattended, initial every adjustment.
  • Create and upload purchase orders as directed and when needed.

• All other duties as assigned by store management

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Education
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Experience
  • 6 months retail cycle counting or warehouse inventory; RF scanner experience strongly preferred.
• Skills & Abilities
  • Counting precision—blind-counts 500 screws in <90 sec with zero errors.
  • Mango report fluency—interprets dashboards, filters by department.  Training provided.
  • Mobile RF mastery—navigates menus without looking.
  • Independent worker who owns a zone from start to audit-ready finish.
  • Basic Excel for variance logs and trend charts.
  • Age 16 years or older
• Physical Requirements
  • Lift/carry up to 50 lbs occasionally (cases during slotting).
  • Walk 8–12 miles/shift; climb 12-ft rolling ladders; bend, reach, kneel in tight aisles.
  • Early-morning or late-night inventory windows.
• Other
  • Laser-focused on accuracy—“close enough” is not in your vocabulary.
  • Flexible for physical inventory weekends and truck-receiving support when needed.
  • Commitment to data integrity and shrink elimination.
