Sous chef responsibilities include:
- Oversee the daily kitchen operations in a high volume operation
- Assisting the Executive Chef with food orders, inventory, labor and sales
- Quality assurance of all products in the kitchen
- Checking all recipes are being followed
- Work directly with management in planning and coordinating special events, when they occur.
- Experience in high volume, full service restaurants.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and protocols.
- Excellent communication skills between all levels of the operation
- Experience with working 11-12 shifts
