POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for auditing and correcting retail store sales, prior to posting to the general ledger. Point of contact person for specific number of locations, to give support & guidance on daily transacting, as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review/Audit paperwork prior to processing for specified number of locations
- Audit paperwork to ensure company policies and procedures are followed
- Problem-solve and work with store to resolve issues
- Run Reports for audit of sales
- Perform month-end duties and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of posting BU sales for the month
Qualifications:
- 3 years’ experience
- Intermediate computer skills: Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
- Strong math skills
- Able to communicate well with written and verbal communication
- Able to help build and work in a team environment
- Basic knowledge of accounting operations
- Ability to read and interpret accounting policy /procedures manuals
- Ability to calculate figures, amounts and work fractions, ratios and percentages
- Ability to do research and help develop new procedures for efficiency
- Ability to assist with training staff
OTHER SKILLS & ABILITIES (specialized knowledge, computer skills)
- Work independently with limited supervision
- Flexibility to work overtime, as it will be required at certain times
