Marketing Lead, Retail
Job Overview:
This role owns the planning and execution of marketing programs that drive traffic and sales across retail channels, with a primary focus on our Big Tex Trailer World channel. This position is accountable for turning strategy into action by building plans and driving execution across teams. This role is expected to own and execute the plan to results. This role supports broader marketing initiatives across the business, contributing to product launches and cross-brand programs as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Retail Marketing Ownership
• Own the development and execution of Trailer World marketing plans, working in partnership with leadership to define priorities and approach
• Translate strategy into clear, actionable plans that drive traffic and sales at the store level
• Own performance of retail marketing programs, including defining KPIs, building dashboards, and using data to drive traffic, conversion, and sales growth
• Ensure consistent messaging, promotions, and execution across locations
• Monitor performance and identify opportunities to improve results
• Work directly with store teams to ensure campaigns are implemented correctly
Campaign Planning & Execution
• Build campaigns with clear objectives and measurable outcomes
• Develop timelines, coordinate assets, and align internal teams (creative, digital, product, sales)
• Ensure work is delivered on time, meets brand standards, and shows up correctly in market
• Maintain visibility across projects, clearly communicating status, next steps, and risks
• Identify issues early and resolve them quickly to keep work on track
Marketing Execution & Launch Coordination
• Lead execution of product launches and key marketing initiatives across retail channels
• Ensure retail and dealer channels are aligned and ready to support launches and campaigns
• Drive work from initial plan through full in-market execution without gaps
Education – Experience Required:
• Bachelors Degree in Marketing preferred; High School diploma or GED equivalent required
• Three to six years marketing experience, preferably in retail, dealer, or multi-location environments
• Strong understanding of marketing fundamentals, including segmentation, positioning, and go-to-market planning
• Ability to translate strategy into execution that drives traffic and sales
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Strong organizational and follow-through skills
• Clear and professional communication
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of outcomes
