Job Responsibilities

Assist daily or back up for Transportation Shipping Coordinator when unavailable or out of the office
- Maintain the Daily Shipping Schedule load boards for all Big Tex & PJ Shipping facilities
- Maintain the Daily Loaded Report each day for all Big Tex Shipping facilities
- Communicate with all Big Tex & PJ Shipping facilities in regards to updates on their loads for the Daily Shipping Schedule
- Communicate with the rest of the Transportation team on loads being scheduled, posted, or any issues that my arise.
- Prepare the Daily Load Board each day to show time frame breakdown, delay causes, reschedules/cancellations for the MP Shipping facility
- Maintain spreadsheet for ribbon combinations to be used for flagging process in MP
- Prepare new approved load sheets for flaggers in MP
- Prepare scheduled load sheets for tractor drivers, stacking crews, and QC’s in MP
- Prepare TIN sheets for all loads scheduled for the MP Shipping facility
- Assist the other Big Tex & PJ Shipping crews with issues / questions as needed
- Assist other departments with concerns/issues/questions in regards to loads being worked through the processes before releasing loads
- Update Flooring Dept / Repairs Dept of units needing to be worked through their stations in order to complete the load for scheduling.
- Check in trailer transfers from other Big Tex Shipping facilities
- Handle the majority of transfers within Take Stock for Big Tex product
- Fill out the shipment sheets (BOL’s) when driver’s are assigned for carriers
- Assist the drivers with the load paperwork when needed
- Update Doc Control on loads to be released each day that have been picked up
- Coordinate with dealers / stores / sales team / carriers on dpu / cpu loads needing to be scheduled for stacking at any of the Big Tex & PJ Shipping facilities
- Prepare temp tags for dpu / cpu loads when needed
- Coordinate with Warranty & Parts teams for any parts that need to be put on loads to be delivered to dealers / stores.
- Coordinate with Warranty / Transportation when trailers are returned for Warranty reasons
- Maintain multiple spreadsheets / reports for Transportation
- Prepare final copies of completed load sheets
- Fill out shipment sheets (BOL’s) for completed loads at the MP Shipping facility
- Other duties / responsibilities as needed
Education – Experience Required
- At least a High School diploma or GED required
- Preferred to have some typing experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) – for business correspondence and reports
- Strong communication skills (written & verbal), and problem-solving skills
- High level of organization and attention to detail
Salary : $18 - $20
