Role Description The AI Data Center Project Engineer is a full-time hybrid role based in Lexington, KY, with flexibility for some work from home. In this position, the engineer oversees the planning, deployment, and maintenance of AI-focused data center infrastructure, coordinating with cross-functional teams and vendors to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing data center operations, supervising cabling and hardware installations, monitoring system performance, and implementing best practices for reliability and efficiency. The role also involves troubleshooting technical issues, providing technical support to internal teams, documenting processes and configurations, and contributing to continuous improvement of data center standards and procedures. The engineer is expected to maintain high safety and compliance standards and support scalability for future AI projects.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Data Center Operations and Data Center Infrastructure.
