Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and motivated individual to join our team as a General Laborer. This is a temporary position with the opportunity to become a permanent team member based on performance and business needs. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and willing to perform a variety of operational and maintenance tasks in a fast-paced data center environment.
Duties
- Assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials and equipment safely and efficiently
- Prepare work sites by cleaning, organizing, and setting up tools and supplies
- Support skilled tradespeople by handing tools, holding materials, or performing basic tasks as directed
- Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure work environment for all team members
- Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure optimal operation
- Help with site cleanup and disposal of debris to keep the workspace tidy and hazard-free
- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Experience
- Prior experience in general labor, construction, manufacturing, or related fields is preferred but not required
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, bending, standing, and walking for extended periods
- Strong attention to safety procedures and willingness to learn safety protocols
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions clearly
- Reliable work ethic with a positive attitude and teamwork spirit
- Basic understanding of tools and equipment used in manual labor roles is a plus but not mandatory
