How the Party/Event Host works with the Team:

Big SNOW American Dream is looking for energetic and outgoing individuals to join our team as party/event hosts. This role is responsible for leading birthday parties, school groups, and private events while ensuring guests have a fun, organized, and memorable experience at North America's only indoor ski and snowboard resort.

The host will act as the main point of contact for event groups and guide guests through their entire visit from arrival, getting equipment, time on snow, and food service.

This position is perfect for candidate for who enjoy working with kids, families, and groups in a fast-paced and exciting environment

Team Member Responsibilities:

Be an accurate and reliable source of information for our Guests
Welcome and check in birthday parties and event groups upon arrival
Serve as the primary host and point of contact for party organizers and parents.
Guide groups through the event schedule including rentals, snow access, and food service.
Coordinate with the internal team regarding equipment rentals, instructors, and food and beverage.
Assist guests with rentals and help organize groups before entering the snow area.
Lead birthday celebrations including cake and group moments.
Maintain organization of party areas and ensure spaces are clean and guest-ready.
Ensure events run on schedule and guests feel supported throughout the experience.
Provide exceptional guest service and create a positive, memorable environment for families.
Make sure parties and event timing stays on schedule.
Perform other duties as assigned by Blazer/Guide

Qualifications:

Must be at least 18 years of age
Ability to deal effectively with guests
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Must have time management skills
Must be able to be in cold temperatures (constant 28 degrees) for periods of time
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Must be willing to speak in front of large groups of people
A positive attitude and a commitment to great service.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays

Salary : $17 - $20
