Please come join our team as an on-call Bartender for Banquet events located in the Renaissance Daytona Beach Oceanfront Hotel in Daytona Beach, Florida. We are looking for an experienced Bartenders. Previous bartending experience is required. Local candidates only, non-smoking position.
Position Summary:
The On-Call Banquet Bartender provides professional beverage service at special events such as weddings, corporate functions, and private parties. This role works on an as-needed basis, preparing and serving drinks while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and break down bar areas for events, including stocking supplies and equipment
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and guest preferences
- Verify guest age and follow all alcohol service laws and regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area throughout the event
- Monitor guest consumption and promote responsible drinking
- Provide friendly, attentive service and respond quickly to guest requests
- Handle cash and/or process payments accurately (if required)
- Assist with inventory and restocking during and after events
Qualifications:
- Previous bartending or hospitality experience preferred
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Knowledge of basic cocktail recipes, beer, and wine service
- Ability to work flexible, on-call hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
- Must meet minimum age requirements for alcohol service
- Alcohol certification (e.g., TIPS or ServSafe Alcohol) may be required
Work Environment:
- Fast-paced event settings (indoor and/or outdoor)
- Standing for long periods and lifting up to 25–50 lbs
- Variable schedule based on event bookings
Compensation:
