Responsibilities:
- Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements
- Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, place and join studs using steel materials
- Install metal framing
- Notify the supervisor of any equipment deficiencies.
- Follow all safety procedures
- Keep work area clean
- Other duties as required.
Requirements:
- Motivated and self-disciplined
- Ability to work both independently and in a team setting
- Reliable and punctual
- Previous experience in the commercial construction industry preferred.
