Responsibilities
- Create an engaging and safe learning environment for individuals, families, and groups
- Deliver high-quality instruction in both classic and skate skiing techniques
- Clearly and effectively communicate with students, parents, supervisors, and fellow instructors
- Show up reliably, on time, and ready to deliver a memorable guest experience
- Adapt to all winter conditions and maintain a positive, guest-focused attitude throughout the day
- Assist guests in properly fitting and sizing Nordic rental equipment when needed
- Support retail and rental operations during downtime or peak periods
- Inspire a love for Nordic skiing by leading with passion, patience, and professionalism
- PSIA Level 1 certification is encouraged (can be completed during the season); Level 2 or 3 preferred or international equivalent
- At least two seasons of previous instructing experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and a natural talent for guest service
- Confidence and comfort working in cold, snowy, and changing mountain environments
