Essential Job Functions:
MIG weld steel, stainless steel, aluminum components
TIG weld stainless steel
Material Fabrication
Plasma Cutting
Operate drill press, arbor press, bench grinder
Ability to read mechanical drawings and assembly drawings
Understands weld symbols
ontinuous Improvement:
Proactively identify and participate in process improvement activities to promote continuous improvement
Supports other facility related projects and initiatives as assigned
Standards and Procedures:
Ensure implementation and adherence to health and safety rules, regulations, and procedures.
Ability to perform the essential job functions consistent safely meeting federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with federal, state, and local standards.
Other Requirements:
Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude
Ability to work independently and to carry our assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
Ability to read and analyze charts, work orders, production schedules, and other records and reports to determine production requirements and to evaluate current production estimates and outputs
Ability to interpret specifications, schematics, job orders, and company policies and procedures for employees
Excellent analytical, problem solving, interpersonal, time management and documentation skills
Ability to work independently as well as with a team
Ability to multi-task and must be organized
Must be familiar with manufacturing processes
Must be authorized to work in the United States
Ability to travel up 25% of work hours
Lift raw materials, final products, and items packed for shipment, manually up to 50 lbs.
