Heavy Civil Superintendent

We are seeking experienced construction professionals to join the Big Sky team on a major Heavy Civil infrastructure project. We are looking for an experienced project superintendent who thrive in challenging field environments and have a proven track record delivering complex infrastructure projects safely, on schedule, and within budget.
Our projects include dams, water resource infrastructure, concrete structures, earthwork, excavation, grouting, utilities, and other large-scale heavy civil construction. Travel is a requirement.
Heavy Civil Superintendent
Minimum Qualifications
- 5-10 years of Heavy Civil construction experience.
- Minimum 5 years as a Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent.
- Demonstrated experience managing field crews on projects exceeding $10 million.
- Strong background in one or more of the following:
- Mass Concrete
- Structural concrete
- Roller Compacted Concrete
- Dam rehabilitation
- Water and wastewater infrastructure
- Earthwork
- Rock excavation
- Drilled shafts, anchors, or grouting
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
Responsibilities
- Lead all field operations.
- Coordinate subcontractors and self-perform crews.
- Develop and maintain short-term schedules.
- Ensure work is performed safely and to specification.
- Coordinate equipment, labor, and materials.
- Participate in daily planning meetings.
- Work closely with project management and owners' representatives.
- Maintain production goals while ensuring quality standards are achieved.
