Heavy Civil Project Engineer
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of Heavy Civil construction experience.
- Experience with infrastructure, dams, bridges, water resources, or large concrete projects preferred.
- Experience with structural, mass, and roller compacted concrete.
- Experience with survey, layout, quantity verification, tracking and inventory tracking.
- Ability to interpret plans, specifications, and contract documents.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Must be open to Travel
Responsibilities
- Support project management and field supervision.
- Prepare RFIs, submittals, schedules, and work plans.
- Assist with scheduling and production tracking.
- Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers.
- Track quantities and project costs.
- Support quality control documentation.
- Assist with change orders and project reporting.
- Participate in owner and subcontractor meetings.
Preferred Experience
- Hard Dollar, Primavera P6, HCSS, or similar software.
- OSHA 30.
- MSHA certification (preferred).
- Experience working with federal, state, or municipal agencies.
- Experience on dam, water resources, or infrastructure projects.
- Experience with self-perform construction operations.
