    Big Sioux Community Water System, a member owned, non-profit rural water system for Lake & Moody Counties, is offering full time employment opportunity to a self-motivated individual whose duties will include water distribution, pipeline maintenance and repair, system maintenance, water line construction, customer service, metering, service calls, one-call locates and water plant operations (when on call). This position is full-time 8:00 am – 4:30pm Monday-Friday (40 hours a week) and will require on call after hours and weekends, which rotates every 5 weeks with flexibility.

Basic requirements include a high school education, a clean driving record, good communication skills, basic math skills, along with mechanical & electrical aptitude. A valid driver’s license is required; company pickup and phone will be provided.

Preference will be given to applicants who hold Water Certifications, however all interested parties are encouraged to apply. Big Sioux CWS is willing to train promising candidates.

Candidates must live within the service area.
