FRONT DESK AGENT (PM SHIFT)
Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt
Reports to: Director of Operations
GENERAL PURPOSE:
Builds a first impression for the guests by providing punctual, courteous and efficient handling of requests, which include check-in and checkout, handling cashier registers, and answering calls.
SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS:
Reliable attendance and punctuality are required.
Morning, evening, and weekend availability required. (Schedules posted at LEAST two weeks in advance)
Occasional holiday or event-based coverage may be requested/required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prioritize and organize work
- Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team
- Work with minimal supervision
- Greet customers in a friendly and sincere manner
- Checking guests in and out in a professional manner
- Complete registration process working with a computer system
- Count money accurately and handle cash, cards, checks, vouchers vigilantly
- Provide concierge services
- Transmit and receive messages using a telephone
- Provide satisfactory overall customer service
- Keep general areas indoor/outdoor clean and tidy
- Respond to guest inquiries in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
- Provide or obtain accurate information
- Other duties as assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to communicate in the English language
- Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
- Must be able to push/pull up to 100 pounds occasionally
- Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours
- Must be able to kneel, squat, bend, stoop and twist
- Adequately communicate with guests, management and co-workers
- Basic computer skills
- Experience in a customer-service role
- Availability for flexible scheduling
Salary : $15 - $17
