What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lab Technician position at Big River Resources?
Big River Resources has an opening for a Lab Technician at our Galva location. Big River Resources is located in Galva, Illinois, and specializes in the processing of corn into fuel grade ethanol, dried distillers grains and corn oil. As a Lab Technician, this person is responsible for daily laboratory tasks which include: Obtaining and running various process samples, tracking fermentation progress, checking water treatment and final product samples for quality. Laboratory instruments used include HPLCs, moisture meters, NIR, GCs, pH probes, etc. Successful candidate will have a two or four year science degree or equivalent work and/or lab experience, basic computer skills, attention to detail and good time management skills.
