Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Shop Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our repair facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive repair experience, and proficiency with repair software. This role involves supervising technicians, managing project schedules, ensuring quality control, and maintaining safety standards in shop. The Shop Supervisor will play a pivotal role in coordinating projects from start to completion, ensuring they meet quality standards, and deadlines.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of technicians to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to project plans.
- Read and interpret schematics, and repair documents to guide team activities.
- Utilize repair management software such as Cummins Insite, Cat, Detroit, Wabco, J pro, Snap on, and other relevant tools for project scheduling and electrical troubleshooting
- Monitor project progress, manage schedules, and adjust workflows as needed to meet deadlines.
- Oversee quality control processes to ensure work meets industry standards and client specifications.
- Enforce safety protocols in compliance with OSHA regulations and conduct safety meetings regularly.
- Conduct repair inspections using tools like ohmmeters to verify electrical systems' integrity.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, safety incidents, and project milestones.
Experience
- Proven management or supervising experience within the repair industry.
- Extensive in shop experience with a solid understanding of repairprocesses and safety standards (OSHA compliance).

- Strong knowledge of electrical schematics, repair estimating, budgeting, and project scheduling.
- Welding experience,
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately.
- Hands-on experience with electrical testing tools such as ohmmeters is preferred.
- Excellent management skills with a focus on team supervision, quality control, and problem-solving abilities. Well rounded experienced individual with very good understanding of all aspects of shop enviroment

Pay: $ $45.00 per hour
