Big Rig Glass is looking for an experienced, dependable Auto & Commercial Vehicle Glass Technician to join our growing team.
This is a unique hybrid position for someone who enjoys working in the field but is also interested in learning more of the operational and customer service side of the glass business.
The ideal candidate will have experience installing automotive and/or commercial vehicle glass, experience with ADAS calibrations, and strong customer service and communication skills. In addition to performing glass work, this person will be cross-trained to assist with answering phones, scheduling customers, ordering parts, preparing jobs, and helping keep our day-to-day operation running smoothly.
Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday
Position: Full-Time

What You'll Do
Glass Technician Responsibilities
- Remove and replace automotive windshields and other vehicle glass
- Perform commercial vehicle and semi-truck glass replacements
- Perform rock chip repairs
- Perform ADAS camera calibrations
- Properly prepare vehicles and glass for installation
- Complete jobs safely, cleanly, and efficiently
- Inspect completed work for quality
- Maintain a clean work area, service vehicle, and equipment
- Communicate professionally with customers before and after service
Customer Service & Operations Responsibilities
- Answer incoming customer calls
- Help customers schedule appointments
- Gather vehicle and job information
- Order windshields, moldings, urethane, and other required parts
- Communicate with customers regarding scheduling and job status
- Assist with basic quoting and work-order preparation
- Learn the day-to-day operational side of an auto glass company
We don't expect someone to know every part of the office side on day one. We are willing to train the right technician on our customer service, scheduling, ordering, and operational processes.
