Overview
We are looking for a skilled and dependable Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, extensive experience in construction plumbing, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in the field. This position includes working on active construction sites as well as responding to residential and commercial service calls.
Responsibilities include installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems; assembling and securing components; and operating a wide range of power tools safely and effectively. The right candidate will uphold all safety standards, deliver high-quality workmanship, and communicate clearly with customers and team members.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in commercial, residential, and service-call environments.
- Respond to plumbing service calls, diagnose issues on-site, and provide timely, professional repairs.
- Interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout and installation requirements for plumbing systems.
- Perform pipe threading, cutting, and assembly of pipes and fittings for both construction projects and service repairs.
- Utilize power tools and diagnostic equipment safely and effectively for a wide range of plumbing tasks.
- Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues, ensure proper function, and verify compliance with local plumbing codes.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals and communicate clearly with customers during service visits to ensure efficient, high-quality work.
- Perform heavy lifting, material handling, and equipment movement as required during installations or repairs.
- Maintain a clean, organized work environment in both construction and service settings, ensuring professionalism and safety at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction and service plumbing, with a solid understanding of plumbing codes and regulations.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues effectively in both construction and service-call settings.
- Familiarity with pipe threading techniques and proficient use of a wide range of power tools.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and service documentation related to plumbing installations and repairs.
- Experience working on active construction sites with a thorough understanding of safety protocols and best practices.
- Physical capability to perform heavy lifting, maneuver equipment, and work in various environments.
- Valid commercial driving license is a plus but not mandatory.
