Job Description
Big Rays is looking to hire a full-time Store Operations Manager. The Store Operations Manager is responsible for the lifecycle of inventory-from receiving and storage to sales floor replenishment- ensuring peak operational efficiency. You will aim to hold the store accountable for 100% accuracy throughout the year.
You will lead the Inventory Control and Mail Order teams and partner closely with the Customer Service Manager to create a seamless synergy between stock availability and customer experience. You will set the standards for team pace and task execution. You’ll empower employees through task delegation and training and will troubleshoot and solve issues on the floor as they arise.
This position requires frequent standing, walking, use of stairs, speaking and hearing.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Three years of retail or other comparable industry experience.
- Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service.
- Demonstrated understanding of the importance of engaging the community and other stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities.
- High degree of professionalism in all modes of communication, attitude and teamwork with business partners, team, peers, and management.
- Basic computer skills and digital communication: Outlook, Teams, Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
- Two years of management experience.
- Experience with software programs for scheduling and/or inventory control.

We offer a competitive wage ranging from $28-$32 per hour depending on experience, paid holidays, a 401(k) option, medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, and employee discount.
