Quality Engineer E&S
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Able to successfully complete all the job responsibilities of a Quality Inspector E&S, Quality Technician E&S, Quality Metrology Technician and Quality Lead Inspector E&S
• Responsibilities as assigned by Quality Manager/Supervisor, to include any of the following:
o Inspection of product; ensure quality of product
o Write inspection instructions/control clans
o Complete PPAP’s and participate in APQP
o Completing corrective action
o Assisting Quality Manager
o Supervise Quality Techs, Quality Inspectors, End of Line Inspection and Gp12
o Disposition of hold product
o Ensuring shipping needs are met
o Ensuring customer quality standards are met.
o Training of other employees on quality procedures
o Other duties as assigned.
• May interact with customers and suppliers as needed.
• Lead continuous improvement and corrective action
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum of a High School diploma or GED; Preferred Bachelor’s Degree or 5 years’ experience.
• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, GD&T
• Ability to write, read and understand work instructions accurately
• Working knowledge of calipers, micrometers, height gages, comparator & other inspection tools
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Preferred Experience with data entry in PLEX
• Work independently and be self-motivated
• Good attendance, positive attitude and strong work ethics
• Good organizational skills and have good follow through
• Ability to make decisions, problem solving & initiative
• Good communication skills and able maintain professionalism
• Knowledge of metal stamping.
• Knowledge of TS/ISO, IATF preferred.
