Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of lodging units, including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and surface sanitation to ensure a spotless environment.
• Implement proper cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment to maintain hygiene standards.
• Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items with care.
• Maintain floor care by performing carpet cleaning, floor polishing, and routine maintenance to keep surfaces looking their best.
• Manage outdoor work responsibilities including patio cleaning, outdoor furniture maintenance, and debris removal when necessary.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific cleaning needs and provide excellent customer service throughout each visit.
• Use manual handling techniques safely when lifting heavy objects or moving furniture to prevent injury while completing tasks efficiently.

Requirements

• Proven experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping roles, including janitorial or custodial experience.
• Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floors, carpets, and the use of various cleaning equipment.
• Familiarity with cleaning detergents, sanitation procedures, and proper handling of cleaning supplies.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and manage time effectively to complete tasks within scheduled periods.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients about their needs.
• Outdoor work experience is a plus for tasks involving exterior maintenance or yard cleanup.
• Excellent organizational skills with experience managing housekeeping schedules or housekeeping management systems.
