What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ski Rental Techs + Shop Managers position at Big Powder Ski Shop?
We have 2 ski shops, one in Eden and one in Salt Lake City , and are looking for skiers and snowboarders to help run the store. We need people who can set up ski and snowboard rentals, tune skis and help customers pick out gear. 1 - 2 years working in ski shops required. We have part time and full time positions available at both locations. We need managers who can work full time - three 10 hour shifts, two 5 hour shifts
Responsibilities
This is a small shop so everyone who works here needs to know all about the store. We need people who can help people with anything we offer including
Setting up ski and snowboard rentals
Fitting people for rental or retail boots
Tuning customer gear and rental skis
Helping people pick out helmets, goggles, poles, jackets, skis and bindings
Qualifications
1 - 2 years experience in retail outdoor stores, setting up rental skis, tuning ski equipment or in ski shops
Additional Information
We are looking for people who can start sometime between September and Christmas. Our stores are usually pretty slow until the resorts fully open so we will need some people who can start in November and December. We need part time help in September at both locations to help us get the stores set up for the season.
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
