Big Picture Entertainment, an award-winning entertainment marketing agency, seeks a Revenue Analyst to join the team. A successful candidate will be self-motivated, quick-thinking, and detail-oriented with a growth mindset. This position offers the opportunity to master business management and financial analysis, working to improve operations while serving as the focal point for revenue generation. Working remotely or in the office is at the discretion of the candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Own the revenue workstream: review related data, create PORs/invoices, and collect/project receivables
- Represent the company as the revenue stakeholder both internally with employees as well as externally with clients
- Manage monthly revenue recognition accounting processes and journal entries
- Create projections for bids to clients, analyzing and prescreening for profitability
- Closely track project P&Ls and provide recommendations to drive business improvement
· Perform business analyses to monitor company health and progress toward financial goals
- Run sales commission reports and calculate resulting payments
- Review and sign statement of work agreements (SOWs), ensuring project’s billing status is proceeding as planned
Qualifications:
- Some experience in accounts receivable, revenue recognition, or similar accounting preferred
- BS in accounting and/or finance strongly preferred
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required
- Must be able to work Pacific time zone hours
- Advertising or media experience a plus
- Fluency in QuickBooks Online and ERP systems preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a keen sense of professional etiquette
- Open-minded approach that tackles issues outside area of expertise and is a collaborative team player
- Must be self-motivated, disciplined, highly organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks
- Must exhibit the highest personal and professional standards of integrity and ethics; ability to be discrete and maintain confidential information
- Able to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial data
