Summary:
This position provides customer service for all customers, processes all station sales transactions, maintains clean station environment and follows all Company operating, safety and environmental policies and procedures.

This position provides customer service for all customers, processes all station sales transactions, maintains clean station environment and follows all Company operating, safety and environmental policies and procedures.
Essential Job Functions:
- Ability to work as scheduled including weekends and Holidays and to report to work on time.
- Provides prompt, courteous customer service.
- Processes all sales on cash register properly and accurately, handling money, checks, and other types of payments for products sold.
- Processes transactions on all types of points of sale, e.g. lottery machine, food stamp machine, truck scale, car wash, bulk propane, as required.
- Responsible for processing all “restricted sales” within established guidelines.
- Inspects station facility and equipment for safety, cleanliness and proper working order.
- Performs cleaning duties as required to maintain station cleanliness inside and out, and performs basic upkeep and cleaning of all station equipment.
- Responsible for dispensing fuel including propane as required, and maintaining outside supplies, e.g. water.
- Responsible for immediately and thoroughly following Company procedure in case of a fuel spill. Follows all policies and procedures learned in the environmental training.
- Prepares coffee and other foods, e.g. hot dogs, as required.
- Stocks shelves and cooler box as required.
- Performs other duties as assigned by either the Field manager or Station Manager.
- Promptly communicates all relevant issues to Station Manager.
- Good customer service skills.
- Basic math and cash balancing skills.
- Ability to communicate (orally and in writing) in English.
- Ability to take direction and work with little supervision.
- Ability to work with tools and equipment listed under Essential Job Functions.
- Must stand and /or walk for entire work shift.
- Must occasionally lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds from ground to overhead level.
- Must occasionally push/pull with arms up to a force of 20 pounds utilizing a hand truck.
- Must occasionally bend at waist with some twisting.
- Must grasp, reach and manipulate objects with hands throughout shift.
- Work is predominately inside with up to 10% outside work required.
