Position Summary
The Toddler Teacher helps implement activities that model and promote the Big Oak's mission, vision, and values, and that meet accreditation criteria for children 18 months to 3 years of age. This is a lead teacher position but co-teaches with two other lead teachers.
Duties
- Understand and adhere to state licensing and city accreditation requirements
- Support teachers in implementing the classroom's curriculum, observations and assessments
- Assist with children's routines, classroom cleaning tasks, and other duties as assigned
Requirements
Credentials, Associates, or Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
Or Introduction to Child Care and Foundations of Childcare.
Individuals without these qualifications may be able to start and work towards the requirements for the Co-Lead teacher position.
