What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lawn Care Specialist position at Big O Tree and Lawn?
Overview: We are looking for a lawn care specialist to lead and operate our existing Lawn Care Division. Someone with a four year or two year degree would be great but it is not mandatory. A Virginia Certified Pesticide Applicator License is necessary. Our Lawn Division was established in 1990, to go along with our Tree Division which was established in 1979. This position is for lawn applications of fertilizer, weed and disease control of turf. This position will start out at an hourly wage with the idea of being paid a greater salary based on the growth and production of the company. Basically, we are looking for a person who would treat the lawn division as if they were the owner. We have a great support team to lead and guide this individual into building and growing the Lawn Care Division.
Duties : Oversee all lawn care operations. These duties would include managing and hiring new employees. Ordering fertilizer and weed control products. Overseeing sales and talking with customers. Making lawn care applications as time allows. Management and sales experience is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
