What are the responsibilities and job description for the Future Opening: General Service Technician position at Big O Tires?
- Follow Big O Service Standards procedures
- Mount, dismount, balance, repair and inspection on tires
- Use prvided materials for tire roatations and installations
- Alignment check and services
- Drain oil and replace filter
- Check and fill various fluids
- Check and replace various vehicle filters
- Lubricate vehicle
- Perform safety check on all vehicles
- Installing and checking batteries
- Providing own basic tools
- Maintain good attitude
- Keep a clean work space
- ASE certified preferred but not required
- Self-motivated
- Hands-on skills in making repairs
- Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance protocols.
- Diagnostic ability whether it be manually or with computerized diagnostic tools
- Valid driver’s license to properly road test vehicle to ensure work is successful
