Essential Responsibilities
- Greet customers promptly and courteously upon their arrival for vehicle service.
- Listen attentively to customers’ vehicle concerns and service requests to accurately assess their needs.
- Clearly explain recommended repair services, associated costs, and estimated timelines to customers.
- Schedule and coordinate vehicle service appointments efficiently to optimize shop productivity.
- Maintain thorough and accurate records of customer interactions, service orders, and vehicle repairs.
- Communicate effectively between customers and technicians to ensure a smooth workflow.
- Follow up with customers after service to confirm satisfaction and address any additional concerns.
- Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate issues to management when necessary.
- Process service orders, billing, and payments in accordance with company policies.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Service Advisor or in a customer-facing automotive role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
- Basic understanding of automotive systems and repair procedures.
- Proficiency with computer systems and service management software.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-oriented attitude.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
