Big Moose Apparel is part mountain-themed gift and apparel shop, part working print studio. Customers come in to browse fun, outdoorsy gifts and gear — and they stay to watch their custom design actually get made. It's a pretty cool thing to be part of!

We help businesses, teams, and individuals bring their ideas to life through custom apparel and high-quality printing. We take pride in every product that leaves our shop, and we need someone who shares that standard.

This is a great job for a motivated local student or someone looking to get into the creative and print industry. We'll train the right person.

What You'll Do

This role splits time between two areas of our operation:

Retail & Customer Service You'll be the friendly face of our storefront. That means welcoming customers, answering questions, helping people explore custom order options, and assisting with checkout. You'll keep the retail floor clean, organized, and well-stocked — including seasonal and holiday displays that make the shop feel inviting and fun. When a customer walks in with an idea, you'll help them figure out how to make it real.

Print Production Support You'll assist with running our direct-to-garment (DTG) and sublimation printing equipment — the same machines customers get to watch in action. Attention to detail matters here. Every product needs to meet our quality standards before it goes out the door. You'll also help with prepping, packaging, and shipping orders accurately and on time.

Light design work may be part of the role over time. No experience needed — we'll teach you what you need to know.

Your Day-to-Day Will Include:

• Welcoming customers and helping them in person
• Assisting with custom order consultations
• Operating DTG and sublimation printers
• Checking finished products for quality and consistency
• Keeping the retail area stocked, tidy, and visually appealing
• Packing and shipping customer orders
• Supporting the team wherever needed

What We're Looking For:

• Friendly, professional customer-facing attitude
• Print or retail experience is a bonus, but not required
• Comfort learning design software (Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop) over time
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail and a positive, team-first attitude
