Duties
- Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring clarity and attention to detail
- Provide menu recommendations, upsell specials, and suggest wine or beverage pairings to enhance the dining experience
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and presentation
- Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit
- Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering and cash handling procedures
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to support overall restaurant operations
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality roles, particularly in fine dining environments or nightclubs
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety protocols
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts with multiple tables or sections
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that engages guests and encourages repeat visits
- Experience with OpenTable reservations system or upselling techniques is a plus
- Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy are essential
