- Loading & Unloading: Secure cargo in the truck and safely unload it using dollies, ramps, or lift gates.
- Compliance: Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, log working hours, and complete delivery paperwork.

Box Truck Helper Responsibilities
- Team Assistance: Ride along with the driver to assist with navigating routes and managing on-site logistics.

- Assembly & Installation: Assemble, unbox, or set up products in the customer's home (e.g., attaching appliance hoses or building bed frames).

Summary
In this role, you will serve as an Appliance Installer and Delivery Driver, reporting to the operations supervisor. You will load, transport, and install appliances, perform pre-delivery checks, and troubleshoot basic issues to ensure customer satisfaction. Core responsibilities include safe vehicle operation, accurate delivery documentation, and on-site installation and service support. Your expertise in mechanical knowledge, hand tools, refrigeration, and customer service will drive reliable installations, timely deliveries, and a positive experience for clients and the organization.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an appliance installer and/or delivery driver, including loading/unloading, transit with a box truck, and delivery record maintenance
- Proficient in appliance installation, repair, and basic mechanical/hand tool use; strong troubleshooting and refrigeration knowledge
- Excellent customer service and communication skills; ability to interact professionally with customers and document service visits
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; ability to perform pre-trip inspections and operate a company vehicle
- Familiarity with field service tasks, MRO practices, and basic schematics for appliance systems
Pay: Up to $250.00 per day
