Big Mat Rolling Transportation is hiring reliable and professional Class A CDL Drivers for 53ft trailer operations. This position is mainly for local Florida runs, but drivers may be required to run OTR when necessary.
We are looking for experienced and safety-focused CDL drivers who can operate a tractor-trailer professionally, communicate with dispatch, complete deliveries on time, and represent our company with respect and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class A tractor-trailer with 53ft trailer
- Complete local Florida runs
- Be available for OTR routes when necessary
- Pick up and deliver freight on schedule
- Communicate with dispatch throughout each route
- Complete delivery paperwork and proof of delivery
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Follow DOT rules, safety regulations, and company procedures
- Maintain professionalism with customers, shippers, and receivers
- Handle freight responsibly and report any issues immediately
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL required
- DOT medical card required
- Clean MVR preferred
- Experience driving 53ft trailers required/preferred
- Must be comfortable with local Florida runs
- Must be available for OTR if necessary
- Must be reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
- Must be able to follow dispatch instructions
- Must communicate professionally with dispatch and customers
