What are the responsibilities and job description for the Weekend Morning Cook position at Big Marine Lake Store?
We are looking for a Weekend Cook to make great food for a convenience store. Work is low stress and easy going. You will be making hot breakfast and lunch items and various to go cold items like sub sandwiches, pizzas, and salads. We are looking for someone who is ready to learn or has experience cooking. We focus on quality food offerings over our competitors. You will be working independently between the hours of about 5:00am to 12pm Sunday and Monday. Feel free to come in and see if it's a good fit for you!
Responsibilities include not limited to
- Prepare ingredients to use in cooking
- Cook food in various utensils or grillers
- Ensure great presentation of food
- Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
- Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
- Check quality of ingredients
- Clean up and dishes
Skills
- Experience in using cutting tools, cookware and bakeware
- Ability to follow all sanitation procedures
- Ability to learn
- Very good communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
