Qualifications:
- Ability to work flexible hours, including Saturdays
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong active listening and problem-solving skills
- Basic computer skills and comfort with POS systems
- Willingness to learn about pools, spas, and water care products
Responsibilities:
Customer Service & Sales
- Greet customers and provide friendly, knowledgeable assistance.
- Perform in-store water testing; explain results and recommend chemicals.
- Upsell and cross-sell pool/spa accessories, cleaners, and maintenance items (Commisions available).
- Answer phones, direct calls to their appropriate departments (I.e. Service, Construction, etc.)
Operations
- Operate POS system; process cash, credit, and returns.
- Assist customers with carry-outs (chlorine, salt, supplies, etc.).
- Restock shelves, maintain merchandising displays, rotate stock.
- Keep retail space clean, organized, and safe.
Physical/Other
- Safely lift and carry up to ~50 lb.
- Assist with unloading deliveries and stocking warehouse/showroom.
- Follow safety procedures when handling chemicals.
- Participate in training sessions to expand product knowledge and sales skills
- Support team members and help with additional projects as needed
