Assistant Manager – Big Jim’s Drive-In (Hood River, OR)
Big Jim’s Drive-In is growing—and we want you to grow with us. We’re a fresh face in Hood River’s food scene, building something special from the ground up. As our new Assistant Manager, you won’t just be helping run the show—you’ll be shaping it.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Supporting daily operations while mentoring and developing a young, enthusiastic team
- Helping refine systems and processes as we scale up
- Contributing to menu our growing menu and service while bringing fresh ideas to the table
- Building relationships with local vendors, customers, and the Hood River community
- Collaborating with leadership to create a workplace that’s fast-paced, fun, and rooted in respect
- Working with a small and tight crew that is still in the making and helping to develop them into the best we can offer!
What We’re Looking For:
- Leadership experience in food service or hospitality management (1-2 years)
- A hands-on manager who leads by example and thrives in a new and fresh environment
- Passion for food, people, and community
- Flexibility, creativity, and a sense of humor—because we’re still figuring things out, and that’s part of the fun
- Someone with open availability, we're primarily looking for someone who can do mid and night shifts.
