Big Island Express Car Wash in Hilo is looking for a hands-on Assistant Manager to help lead daily operations, develop team members, and deliver outstanding customer experience at our fast-paced express car wash location.
What you’ll do:
- Support the site manager in daily operations and team leadership.
- Lead by example on customer service, professionalism, and work ethic.
- Coach, train, and motivate team members.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and procedures
- Manage scheduling, attendance, and shift coverage when the site manager is away.
- Monitor productivity, sales performance, and service quality
- Handle customer concerns quickly and professionally
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized facility
What we are looking for:
- 1-3 years of supervisory experience
- Strong communication & leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment
- Reliable, accountable, and results-driven mindset
- Comfortable managing performance and holding team members accountable
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Mechanical Aptitude a PLUS
