Position Summary

Big Inc Contracting, an independent service provider for FedEx, is hiring experienced FedEx drivers to operate delivery vehicles, manage daily loads, complete assigned delivery and pickup routes, and provide strong customer service. This role requires a strong work ethic, short-notice travel readiness, and the ability to safely handle packages up to 75 lbs. • We cover all lodging, whether it’s a hotel, Airbnb, or apartment
• Everyone gets own room (unless requested to share)
• Travel reimbursement to work location (fuel, flights, etc.)
• At least 5 weeks before taking vacation (Travel for vacation on you)
• Recommend having your own vehicle since Uber or ride-share can get pricey depending on the area.
• Any fuel or travel reimbursements will hit first paycheck

Objectives:

• Safely operate the delivery vehicle and follow all company and DOT guidelines.
• Complete assigned residential and business deliveries and pickups accurately and on time.
• Inspect, load, and organize the vehicle each day for an efficient route.
• Use scanning equipment to properly track and document all packages.
• Provide professional customer service and maintain clear communication with management and team members.

Competencies:

• 21 years old with a valid driver's license
• Clean driving and criminal record
• Pass a DOT physical, background check, and drug screening
• Reliable, punctual, and ready to work every shift
• Strong communication skills and a dependable work ethic

Physical Requirements:

• Lift packages up to 75 lbs (150 lbs with equipment)
• Get in and out of a delivery vehicle all day
• Walk, climb stairs, and navigate driveways regularly
• Push and pull loaded carts and hand trucks
• Bend, reach, twist, and move continuously throughout your shift
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions
