FedEx Team Lead/Manager

Full Time 5–6 days/week (weekends required as needed)|$215 day |Georgetown, KY

Position Summary

We’re looking for a motivated, dependable Full-Time Team Lead to support our delivery operations in Georgetown, KY. This hands-on leadership role requires someone who can manage their own schedule, work independently, and lead a team with focus, efficiency and integrity.

You’ll help launch routes, support drivers, handle daily challenges and keep operations running on time. The ideal candidate has strong time management, great communication skills and stays calm, positive, and organized even under pressure. Objectives:

• Lead and support a team of 40-50 elite professional drivers
• Plan and execute daily dispatch, route assignments and logistics
• Provide on-road support and cover delivery routes as needed
• Train and mentor new hires to meet safety and service expectations
• Maintain performance and delivery metrics, keeping operations efficient and safe
• Promote teamwork, positivity and professionalism among the driver team
• Communicate clearly and effectively with drivers, terminal staff and company leadership

Competencies:

• 1 year of experience as a team lead/manager (any field) with a team of 40 people or more
• Experience in dispatch and logistics (preferred)
• Must be 21 with a valid driver’s license and clean MVR
• Able to pass DOT physical, drug screening, and background check
• Tech-savvy and able to learn routing and tracking systems quickly
• Able to lift packages up to 75lbs by hand up to 150lbs with a dolly
• Work in varying weather conditions

Physical Requirements:

• Get in and out of the truck, up driveways, and climb stairs all day
• Lift packages up to 75 lbs solo, or up to 150 lbs with dolly
• Push and pull loaded carts with ease
• Bend, reach, twist, and drive safely throughout your shift
• Brave all kinds of weather: heat, cold, rain, or snow
