$16.50/hr. $0.50 per delivered stop

• 5 stops/hr = $2.50 $16.50 = $19/hr
• 15 stops/hr = $7.50 $16.50 = $24/hr
• 27 stops/hr = $13.50 $16.50 = $30/hr

Position Summary

Big Inc Contracting, an independent service provider for FedEx, is hiring a part time delivery driver! Start delivering FedEx packages using your own vehicle in a local role. You’ll complete 50–80 residential and business stops per day, working generally from 9 AM to 2 PM, and earn pay based on your deliveries plus hourly wages. No commercial driving experience is required, though Lyft, Uber, or Instacart experience is a plus, and all stops are within town. We’re looking for organized, reliable drivers who take pride in working independently while providing excellent service.

Objectives:

• Safely operate a delivery vehicle while following company and DOT standards
• Complete deliveries and pickups accurately and on schedule
• Inspect, load, and organize your vehicle for efficient routes
• Scan and track packages with handheld technology
• Deliver excellent customer service and maintain clear communication with your team and management

Competencies:

• 21 years old with a valid driver's license
• Clean driving and criminal record
• Pass a DOT physical, background check, and drug screening
• Reliable, punctual, and ready to work every shift
• Strong communication skills and a dependable work ethic

Physical Requirements:

• Drive and navigate local routes safely
• Lift and carry packages up to 50 lbs
• Get in and out of your vehicle, walk driveways and stairs
• Bend, reach, and handle packages throughout the day
• Work safely in all weather conditions

Vehicle Requirements:

• Model year 2012 or newer
• Good condition (no major damage, rust, stickers, or decals)
• Registered in your name
• Valid proof of insurance
