Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused General Laborer to join our wireline services team supporting oil and gas well operations.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- No felony convictions (ATF requirements)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with customers, service crews, management, and wellsite personnel
- Local to Casper, WY preferred
Equipment Maintenance
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on wireline trucks, crane trucks, and fleet vehicles
- Maintain and service wireline tools and downhole instruments as directed
- Replace O-rings, service couplings and connections, clean equipment, and prepare tools for future operations
- Identify mechanical issues and coordinate repairs as needed
Wellsite Operations
- Assist with rigging up and rigging down wireline equipment at customer locations
- Support wireline service operations under the direction of the Operations Engineer
- Safely handle and utilize explosives in compliance with API RP-67 and company procedures
- Ensure equipment is properly secured and prepared for transportation following job completion
- Communicate professionally with customers and field personnel throughout operations
Safety & Compliance
- Maintain compliance with all ATF, DOT, NRC, OSHA, and company safety standards
- Adhere to customer policies and procedures while on-site
- Promote and enforce safe work practices for all personnel on location
- Participate in safety meetings, training programs, and regulatory compliance initiatives
- Maintain accurate operational, maintenance, and transportation records
Additional Duties
- Assist with shop operations and miscellaneous duties as assigned by the Operations Engineer, Shop Foreman, or Management
- Operate forklifts, cranes, and other equipment as qualified
- Support team members to ensure successful job execution and customer satisfaction
Preferred Skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Knowledge of rigging and oilfield operations
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic repairs
- Experience working in oil and gas, wireline, energy, construction, or industrial environments
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and operating procedures
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull equipment and materials
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, and kneel for extended periods
- Ability to travel to customer locations and work extended hours as business needs require
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
