Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Big Horn Rehabilitation and Care Center is looking for an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join the long-term care unit at our beautiful skilled nursing facility. Big Horn Rehabilitation and Care Center is committed to providing high quality services so that every resident receives the care and attention that they need. The primary purpose of the position is to ensure the highest quality of resident care available, support staff, and establish a positive reputation in the community while delivering on the Eduro Healthcare values.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) care for residents

• Reporting observations of the patient to nursing supervisor

• Documents actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.

• Answering patients’ call lights and requests

• Assisting patients with eating, dressing, and bathing

• Preparing patients for transfers or discharge

• Comply to all regulatory protocols and policies related to infection control and nursing care

• Observance of patient diet restrictions as prescribed by the physician

• Assist in the provision of emergency care

Schedule

• Schedule: PRN

• Location: Sheridan, Wyoming

Skills and Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license issued by Wyoming required

• BLS certification from the AHA required
