Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team and make a meaningful impact on the lives of our residents. In this role, you will assess, diagnose, and treat individuals with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders, helping them regain function, improve communication, and enhance their overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive evaluations to assess speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing abilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each resident’s needs and goals
- Provide skilled therapy services in accordance with established plans of care and clinical best practices
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and rehabilitation team members to ensure coordinated and effective care
- Educate residents, families, and staff on communication techniques, cognitive strategies, and safe swallowing practices
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation of evaluations, treatments, and resident progress
- Participate in interdisciplinary care plan meetings, discharge planning, and quality improvement initiatives
- Provide guidance, training, and supervision to Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (when applicable)
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Wyoming licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY candidates will be considered
- Current CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience in a skilled nursing facility or with geriatric populations preferred
