Performance Responsibilities:
To aid and support the teacher in the pre-kindergarten program
- Assist students in achieving academic success
- Reinforce instructional activities with students as prescribed by the teacher. Provide one-on-one or small group instruction to students.
- Assist students by providing proper examples, emotional support, a friendly attitude and general guidance.
- Perform outside playground duties.
- Prepare materials for instruction.
- Assist students in non-instructional areas, such as supervising the student lunch programs, bus duty, playground duty, and other related non-instructional areas.
- Follow district policy and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned by the Director of Special Services, the building principal or superintendent.
