Job Overview
We are looking for passionate and dedicated Tennis Coaches to lead after-school tennis programs across various Gwinnett County Public Schools. The ideal candidate will bring energy, leadership, and a love for the game to help students of all skill levels develop and thrive. This role includes coaching, mentoring students, maintaining equipment, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the program.
Duties
- Provide high-quality tennis instruction tailored to various skill levels in a fun, inclusive environment.
- Plan and lead engaging lessons that focus on skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
- Maintain tennis equipment and ensure courts are safe and clean.
- Communicate with parents, school staff, and program coordinators about student progress and any concerns.
- Foster a positive and encouraging atmosphere that supports student growth and enjoyment.
Requirements
- Prior coaching or playing experience in tennis (competitive or recreational).
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus to better engage with our diverse student population.
- A passion for working with youth and helping them develop both on and off the court.
