Hours & Availability:
This position averages 10–15 hours per week during the school year and approximately 20 hours per week in the summer, with some flexibility based on availability. Availability is needed Monday–Thursday afternoons during the school year and generally Monday–Friday between 8:00 am–5:00 pm during the summer.
Position Overview:
The Programming Coordinator supports the planning, coordination, and delivery of Big Gumdrop Outdoors’ environmental education programs while also playing an active, hands-on role in leading programming. This role regularly leads and supports after-school clubs, field trips, and summer programs, helps prepare materials and coordinate staffing, and works closely with the Operations Director and Volunteer Coordinator to ensure programs are well-prepared, engaging, and run smoothly. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with youth, values outdoor learning, and is comfortable spending time outside.
Pay: $15–18 per hour (based on experience)
Salary : $15 - $18
