Primary Function
This position is responsible for general administrative duties of the Driver Recruiting Department
Description
- Assist in Driver Orientation: Collect and scan all documents and insure compliance with all new hires.
- Responsible for multiple reports including the Driver File Audit and Current Paid Orientation
- Scan, process, and maintain documents in Paycom
- Complete needed reports for New Hire’s DQ files
- Process and send Driver Legal forms each week
- Responsible for assisting co-workers within the Recruiting department to insure maintenance of efficient, accurate and secure data.
- Complete employment verifications by requesting employment on drivers to complete employment history in Tenstreet
- Complete employment verifications requested from other employers and in Tenstreet for Big G Drivers
- Responsible for updating and maintaining the Orientation Spreadsheet
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills
- One year professional work experience in an administrative or clerical role.
- Must possess working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Positive attitude and willingness to do what it takes to deliver exceptional results.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise discretion and diplomacy when dealing with confidential and sensitive matters.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and people skills with the ability to interact effectively with employees and co-workers at all levels.
- Ability to work as a member of a team and independently as needed.
- Strong attention to details and a high level of organization skills.
Preferred Skills
- AS400/Innovative Transportation Software experience.
Education Required
- High School Diploma or GED, Bachelor's degree preferred.
